Amstelveen street festival brings longtime locals and newcomers together
The small-scale cultural gathering offers Bankras neighbors from various backgrounds a relaxed setting to connect in person. The neighborhood has welcomed many new arrivals, including a large group of Ukrainian residents, but it currently lacks a community center or permanent meeting place for spontaneous interaction. Organizers established the celebration specifically to bridge this gap and help diverse community members build ties.
