Candle lighting for Wereldlichtjesdag in the Keizersgrachtkerk
This gathering invites parents, siblings, grandparents and friends to light a candle for a deceased child, whether a stillborn baby or an adult, and whether the loss is recent or from decades ago. The minister of the church, Annelies Jans, will open the gathering. Attendees who wish to light a candle are asked to register in advance via the website so that enough candles and name cards can be prepared.
