Cellofest: krontjong traditions meet progressive metal at Bimhuis
Cellist Alfian Emir Adytia's trio combines traditional Indonesian krontjong melodies with heavy progressive rock, accompanied by archival film projections from the pre-independence era. The Cellofest performance brings together colonial history, traditional music and contemporary heavy sound. An evening where cello-driven rock meets Indonesian musical heritage.
