Two comedians share one bill, each playing 45 minutes from her new show. Alina Sharipova and Selma Visscher are part of a generation of Dutch stand-up and cabaret performers making their names on the club and small-theatre circuit. A double bill like this lets the audience see two distinct voices and styles in a single evening. New material is usually tested in front of a live crowd before it reaches larger venues, so the audience sees the shows as they take shape. A small theatre suits this kind of comedy, keeping the performers close to the people watching them. The evening is in Dutch and suits anyone who likes to discover comedians early in their careers.
