Family workshops exploring early animation and optics at NEMO Science Museum
Running in the museum maker space De Makerij, this summer program gives three nineteenth-century inventions a modern update for visitors of all ages. Participants discover how people sent messages before telephones existed and examine the techniques behind the very first animated films. Additional hands-on experiments focus on mirrors, showing how optical reflections can be used to generate three-dimensional projections.
