More than 200 glass objects from antiquity — transparent, opaque, vividly colored, elegantly shaped — are on display at the Allard Pierson through November 1. The exhibition draws on recent research in partnership with Delft University of Technology and reveals just how sophisticated ancient glassmakers really were. A surprisingly beautiful show.
