Opening rounds of the Nationaal Cello Concours
Young players perform identical set repertoire with piano and cello accompaniment before an international festival jury, making the early rounds fully open to public observation. The identical set pieces mean you can hear how different young cellists approach the same technical challenges, offering a glimpse of how musicians develop their voice within constraint. It's cello competition as public masterclass.
