Plum tasting and farmers market at Rijksmuseum Muiderslot
The event continues a historical custom started by seventeenth-century writer P.C. Hooft, who lived at the castle and invited Amsterdam friends over during the harvest season. Visitors can sample fruit directly from the orchard and browse market stalls filled with artisanal and regional goods. Admission to the weekend celebration is free of charge.
