A new exhibition at the Allard Pierson explores identity and reinvention through the University of Amsterdam’s theater collection. The show focuses on three intriguing subjects: crossdressing on stage, the Slingelandt theater, and the life of revue performer Louisette — brought together with new work by photographer Diana Blok, who captures actors in the roles of the opposite sex. Runs through late November.
