Truls Mørk joins Nederlands Kamerorkest for Shostakovich
Cellist Truls Mørk tackles Shostakovich's first concerto paired with Mahler's Blumine and Beethoven's Eighth Symphony. The programme balances an intense twentieth-century work with two shorter romantic pieces. It's a substantial afternoon of classical music featuring the cello as a central voice.
