Trumpeter Maite Hontelé debuts nine-piece band La Novia
Trumpeter Maite Hontelé presents the debut of her nine-piece band La Novia, bringing together international musicians including drummer Rodney Barreto and bassist Adinda Meertins for heavy, driving salsa rhythms. The ensemble creates a full, complex sound from Latin rhythms and horn writing. This is Latin music performed at a high level of musicianship and arrangement.
