Two waacking dance performances explore identity at ITA
Choreographers Yeliz Pazar and Suzanne Degennaro both present their work in the Netherlands for the first time, using the waacking dance style to express inner struggle. In the group piece Point of No Return, Pazar confronts the moment of irreversible change, using rupture as the starting point for transformation. Degennaro presents her first solo performance, Limbo, which explores fragmented states of identity and gives physical form to the feeling of being caught in between.
