Recent graduates from the Rietveld Academie often struggle to find places to display their work, with many pieces ending up stored away in boxes shortly after graduation.

To provide visibility for emerging artists, advertising agency Serviceplan Group is opening its workplace in the Houthavens as an exhibition space for a year.

A year on display

The exhibition, titled No Fixed Outcome, includes glass objects, kinetic sculptures, analogue photography, and oil paintings.

Co-curator Freddy Tratlehner, an alumnus of the academy, explained that the initiative aims to help young artists overcome the difficult transition into the professional art world.

The exhibition is located at Koivistokade 56 in the Westelijk Havengebied, where the alumni work will remain on display for the next year.
