Amsterdam has private clinics for plastic and cosmetic surgery, a hospital-owned clinic in Oud-Zuid and a growing number of clinics that only offer injectables and skin treatments.

This guide sorts them by what they actually do, so you know whether you are looking at a surgical clinic or a cosmetic one before you book a consultation.

Every name links to the clinic’s page in our directory, with its address, opening hours and contact details.

Ask who will carry out your treatment and check that person in the BIG register, the Dutch public register of healthcare professionals.

Most clinics start with a consultation, and it is worth asking what aftercare is included and whether your insurer covers any part of it.
