Korean eatery Seoul Food recently celebrated its tenth anniversary on Kinkerstraat in Oud-West. Opened on 2 August by owners Patrick and Joan, the shop was an early arrival in the neighborhood for Korean cuisine.

Located at Kinkerstraat 73A, the space functions as both an eatery and a small market. Alongside fresh family recipes, the shelves carry specialty soft drinks, packaged foods, and bottles of soju.

The interior reflects South Korean pop culture with idol cushions, film posters, and cosmetic magazines. The menu also includes themed drinks like a Strawberry Dalgona Latte.

Menu Classics and Local Events

The kitchen serves a variety of classic dishes, including kimbap, tteokbokki, and japchae sweet potato glass noodles. Monthly specials include filled triangular seaweed rice wraps, as well as sandwiches.

Popular main courses include meatless bibimbap for 17 euros, and bibimbap paired with marinated bulgogi beef for the same price.

Beyond dining, the owners host regular neighborhood gatherings, such as Jazzy Sundays featuring musicians with Korean roots. They have also hosted album listening parties for K-pop band BTS.
