Stevie Wonder to perform at Ziggo Dome

The American singer will bring his anniversary tour to Amsterdam on 28 October. It marks his first performance in the Netherlands since 2014.

Stevie Wonder will perform at the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam on 28 October. Concert promoter MOJO announced the date on Tuesday.

The 76-year-old American singer is visiting as part of his ‘Songs In The Key of Life’ Performances – 50th Anniversary Tour.

Celebrating a 1976 milestone

The concert marks 50 years since the release of the album in 1976. The record brought Wonder his third Grammy Award for Album of the Year.

It achieved diamond status with over 10 million copies sold and was later added to the National Recording Registry of the Library of Congress.

Wonder last performed in the Netherlands in 2014, when he was a headline act at the North Sea Jazz Festival in Rotterdam.

Ticket sales for the Ziggo Dome show open on Friday 11 September at 10:00 via Ticketmaster.
