Boerderij Westerpark, the children’s farm in Westerpark, officially reopens on Sunday 4 October after major renovation work that began at the start of this year.
It is the second big renovation at the farm in a short time.
The meadow has been improved so the animals no longer stand in the mud, and the stable has been refurbished.
New paths across the grounds also make the farm easier to get around with prams and wheelchairs.
Reopening day on 4 October
At the reopening, first-time visitors and regulars alike can explore the farm, see the animals and join in activities for children and adults.
Everyone is welcome from 10:00 on Sunday 4 October at Overbrakerpad 10.
If a morning among the animals at Boerderij Westerpark leaves the children asking where to go next, there are plenty more family outings around the city.
