A local baking project focused on Spanish-style cheesecakes has opened two dedicated storefronts in central Amsterdam, serving specialized variations of the classic dessert.

The business started after a group of friends tried to find traditional Spanish cheesecake in the city and decided to begin baking their own at home.

Two distinct regional styles

The menu centers on two distinct styles, starting with a Basque version baked at higher temperatures to produce a caramelized top and a smooth, rich interior.

Alongside the Basque recipe, the bakery serves a house Madrid style featuring a creamy texture set on a crunchy cookie base.

Central locations and opening hours

Visitors can order plain slices or add various toppings, with classic, chocolate, San Sebastián, and speculaas variations available.

The products are now available at two physical shops located on Laurierstraat in the Jordaan and along Kloveniersburgwal.

Both spots operate with late-afternoon and evening hours during the week, opening earlier on weekends to accommodate local foot traffic as the broader hospitality sector adjusts to shifting consumer habits.
