The city has published five proposals for a new Meervaart building at the Sloterplas in Nieuw-West, each drawn up by a different team of architects.
They are visions of how the Meervaart and its surroundings could look, not final designs.
The proposals are on display on large panels at the Sloterplas and online until 29 October, and anyone can respond to them.
Talk to the advisory group
City staff and members of an advisory group will be at the panels on Saturday 24 October from 14:00 to 16:00 to answer questions and collect reactions, following a first session on Wednesday 21 October.
The advisory group is made up of residents and others involved, and it will advise the selection committee on which architect team to choose.
Its members will also hold separate conversations with business owners, young people, creatives, organisations on the water sports island and visitors to the Meervaart.
Responding online
Responses can also be submitted online at amsterdam.nl/nieuwemeervaart until 29 October.
