GVB, Amsterdam’s public transport operator, is adding services and running later for the Amsterdam Dance Event, from Wednesday 21 to Sunday 25 October.

On the nights of Friday 23 and Saturday 24 October, metro lines 52 and 54 will run until 2 a.m.

Early starts and night buses

On Sunday 25 October, metro lines 50 and 54 will start at 5:15 a.m. from Bijlmer ArenA, towards Isolatorweg and Central Station respectively.

Bus 48 will make two extra early-morning trips from Houthavens to Central Station on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

The clocks go back overnight from Saturday into Sunday, so night buses will run until 3 a.m.

Ferries and discounts

The ferry between Central Station and Buiksloterweg will run all night on Saturday, Sunday and Monday 26 October, every 6 minutes.

Ferries between Central Station and the NDSM wharf will run all night on Saturday and Sunday.

The code ADE2026 gives 20% off GVB day tickets, and the Gappie app has an ADE planner with travel advice.

ADE marks its 30th anniversary, with more than 3,600 artists performing at over 1,300 events.
