About
Cafe Voorbeeld is a neighbourhood cafe on a quiet corner of the Jordaan, open since 2016. Mornings start with coffee roasted in Amsterdam Noord and bread from the bakery two doors down; lunch is soups, salads and toasted sandwiches made to order.
On Friday and Saturday evenings the kitchen stays open for small plates and natural wine, and on Sundays there is live jazz with brunch. The back room seats 24 and can be booked for birthdays, team lunches and book clubs.
Dogs are welcome, there is a changing table, and the terrace catches the sun from noon. Vegan and gluten-free options are marked on the menu.
