Salad bar Today is Greenday sends an automatic surprise to members a few days before their birthday. The chain has locations on Ceintuurbaan and at Amsterdam Centraal.
Japanese restaurant Otemba offers a free serving of gyoza to diners who register online or through a QR code in the branch. Locations operate on Kinkerstraat and Van Woustraat.
FuLu Mandarijn on Rokin offers members of its Membership Club a free meal valued up to 70 euros. The offer is valid strictly on the member’s birthday and requires presenting both a membership card and official identification.
Portraits and cinema treats
Amsterdam Museum is marking its centenary by offering free portraits to Amsterdam residents with birthdays between 2 September and 11 December 2026.
Photographer MO takes the portraits across scheduled dates in September, October, and November at Amsterdam in Motion, with participants receiving a print while the image joins the museum collection.
Cinema chain Pathé gives a free small popcorn to people with a complimentary Club Pathé account when attending on their birthday.
