Hands-on West African drumming with Djembé-ensembles
Grab an instrument from the rack or bring your own to learn traditional rhythms across all experience levels. Traditional rhythms from West African musical traditions are accessible to beginners while offering depth for experienced players. Instruments are provided, though participants can bring their own if desired. The ensemble approach means individuals play as part of a larger rhythmic structure. The workshop suits anyone drawn to percussion, rhythm, and world music traditions.
