Radio Philharmonic Orchestra revives Korngold’s Die tote Stadt
An opera concert performance of Erich Wolfgang Korngold's Die tote Stadt takes place in the Main Hall at The Concertgebouw. Composed by the young Korngold, the work was one of the greatest theatrical successes of a century ago. The dramatic and enchanting piece carries an almost cinematic quality that remains relevant today.
