The SaturdayMatinee presents their composer in residence Samy Moussa with a flute concerto co-commissioned by the festival. Emmanuel Pahud, principal flutist of the Berliner Philharmoniker, is the soloist. Karina Canellakis conducts the Radio Philharmonic Orchestra in a programme completed by Brahms' First Symphony.
