The performance explores the grind of working life, highlighting ringing phones, clocking in and out, and the fixation on productivity that fuels burnouts and boreouts. Performer Julia leads a dark, magical, and alienating search for breathing room in a world spinning out of control. Inspired by short films, this intense and cinematic piece is presented as part of Circusbende, an annual festival featuring contemporary circus, absurdism, music, and workshops.
