Dip nets and pond life with a forest ranger
Children head out along the waterways with dip nets to scoop up and inspect tiny aquatic creatures. Children learn to identify and observe aquatic creatures in their natural habitat. The hands-on collection and inspection method engages direct observation and curiosity. A forest ranger provides expert knowledge and context about ecosystems and aquatic life. The activity combines outdoor exploration with structured environmental education.
