Myriam Fares and her full band, with SOUK afterparties
Myriam Fares is a Lebanese singer, dancer and performer, and one of the biggest names in Arabic pop. She is known for high-energy shows that combine her singing with demanding choreography, influenced by both traditional Middle Eastern dance and contemporary pop staging. Songs such as Ghmorni, Nadini and Aman have made her a favourite across the Arab world and its diaspora, and her Netflix documentary Myriam Fares: The Journey gave audiences a look at her life on and off stage. The concert is presented by SOUK, which brings Arab music and culture to Amsterdam audiences. Het Concertgebouw, opened in 1888 and famous worldwide for its acoustics, is a striking setting for a pop concert of this kind. It is a night for longtime fans and for anyone wanting to hear one of the region's leading stars live.
