Open Atelier: make something with your hands near Oudeschans
A relaxed creative studio in the centre of Amsterdam opens its doors to anyone who wants to make something with their own hands. Visitors at the Open Atelier can try out different crafts, materials and techniques without having to sign up for a full course or commit to a single discipline. No experience is needed, so it suits complete beginners as much as people who already enjoy making things and want to try something new. The studio sits on the Oudeschans, one of the older canals on the eastern edge of the city centre. It is a calm way to spend an evening, and you go home with something you made yourself.
