Swing dancers master Balboa throw-outs in a Kompaszaal workshop
This swing dance session focuses on classic Balboa throw-outs, the traditional movements that transition partners from closed position into open and back again. The evening is split into a one-hour introductory class breaking down the fundamentals step by step, followed by a ninety-minute session dedicated to advanced technique, styling, and variations. The night wraps up with a social dance party featuring swing DJs.Ticket For two weeks, we dive into one specific Swing Dance theme! 21 & 28 August – BALBOA THROW-OUTSThrow – outs are one of the classic Balboa movements, taking us from closed position into open and back again. We start with a 1-hour Basic Class, followed by a 1.5-hour Experienced Class.Basic Class: We break down the fundamentals step by step — perfect for beginners.Experienced Class: We build on the material learned and explore more advanced variations, technique, and styling. We party afterwards with our best SWING DJs!
