Amsterdam accounting automation firm Datasnipper has posted a profit of €5 million, swinging into the black after recording a €3 million loss in the previous year.
The company, located on the north side of the IJ, saw revenue climb 43% from €55 million in 2024 to almost €80 million in 2025.
Nearly €50 million of that turnover came from the Netherlands, while the remaining €30 million was generated in the United States.
Funding and staff expansion
In early 2024, venture capital firm Index Ventures invested $100 million into the business.
The company confirmed that its recent €5 million profit will be added entirely to existing reserves.
Datasnipper also grew its team from 180 to 240 staff members over the period.
Under its balance sheet provisions, the firm has set aside €70 million for employee stock appreciation rights, up from €50 million in the previous period.
