The Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) has released its final programme for this year, which marks 30 years since the event began.
More than 3,600 artists are booked to perform from 21 to 25 October at over 300 venues across Amsterdam.
ADE started as a small conference in the 1990s and now runs for five days, drawing both music fans and people who work in the industry.
Names on the line-up
The programme includes producer Martin Garrix and the electronic music pioneer Jean-Michel Jarre.
Newer artists will share stages and conference panels with better-known names.
Club nights will run alongside larger festival shows throughout the five days.
Festival, conference and arts programme
ADE has three parts: the festival, the ADE Pro conference and an arts and culture programme.
The Pro conference brings together festival promoters, booking agents, record label executives and entrepreneurs to network and plan the coming year.
The arts and culture programme links electronic music with visual art, film and performance.
With ADE club nights spread across the city for five days, it helps to know the Amsterdam dancefloors locals rate most before you plan your nights out.
