The art lending library and gallery SBK will show work by 25 young artists in SBK Sprouts Young Talents 2026, the eleventh edition of the exhibition.
All of the artists graduated from Dutch art academies this year, and SBK picked them at the academies’ graduation shows.
The exhibition is in the SBK Kunstuitleen & Galerie space in Loods 6 on the KNSM-laan.
Painting, photography, sculpture and installations
The work covers several disciplines, including painting, photography, sculpture and installations.
Together it presents a new generation of artists at the start of their professional careers.
Opening and two talent prizes
District executive Zeeger Ernsting opens the exhibition on Wednesday 30 September at 17:00.
Two talent prizes will be awarded during Sprouts.
Marco Dreijer and Mette Samkalden are the jury for the SBK Sprouts Young Talents Award, and the SBK-Otto Hetterscheid Stimuleringsprijs, an encouragement prize, will also be presented.
