Madonna will perform at WorldPride 2026 in Amsterdam. WorldPride confirmed it on its Instagram Story, hours after the singer teased the appearance herself.
No performance date has been announced yet. The festival runs from 25 July to 8 August, so the window is already open.
The message, and the typo
Madonna started it with one line of Dutch on her Instagram Stories: “Ik heb its waar ik over wil praten.” The word should be iets, and she reposted a few hours later with the spelling corrected.
The line translates as “I’ve got something I wanna talk about.” It is a lyric from “Bring Your Love,” her recent single with Sabrina Carpenter, and the track plays under the image.
Pride Amsterdam then posted its own version, using the same song with the Dutch translation on screen. Before the confirmation landed, a spokesperson would neither confirm nor deny anything, while fans filled the comments demanding a straight answer.
Madonna routinely announces projects this way, which is why a single Dutch sentence was enough to set the speculation running.
The rest of the line-up
The Unity Concert features Beth Ditto of The Gossip, Billy Porter and Gustaph, alongside Dutch and international acts. On Thursday 6 August, Museumplein becomes a single open-air dancefloor for the Wedding Party XXL.
That night brings techno DJ KI/KI, Bimini, Billy Porter again and the Vengaboys. The Closing Concert line-up so far includes Olly Alexander, The Blessed Madonna and Lion Babe.
Why now
The booking caps a busy stretch around Confessions II, Madonna’s eighth studio album, released on 3 July. She played a surprise Pride pop-up in Times Square on 4 June.
She followed it with the first ever halftime show at a FIFA World Cup final. WorldPride 2026 is expected to draw hundreds of thousands of visitors to the city.
